The first step in the process of creating a new logo for your business or company, is - even though it may sound too obvious - to get a good idea of what you're looking for.
Of course, if you knew exactly what you're looking for (since in some very specific cases this could happen), you could just look for a graphic designer to translate what you have in mind. But if you're part of the 95% of people who just know they want the best logo for their company, something that trully shows they are seriuos about their business, highly competetive and professional (or maybe just looking for a fun, catchy logo), then the first step would be to fill out our design questionnaire.
Our graphic design questionnaire is intended to help our clients write down key concepts and ideas for the graphic piece (or website) they're looking to have done. It goes from very simple questions, like "what is the name of your company?" or "where are you located?" to key questions related to the target audience you're aiming for and competition related information, while covering more techincal aspects such as styles and effects you like.
After we receive your design information (and receive your upfront payment, as confirmation you want us to move forward with the work), we'll begin working on the first set of mockups for your logo. These first drafts (which can take between 2-3 business days to be done) will show you different concepts we believe would work for you, and then some variations over such concepts. The idea would be for your to choose 1 or 2 designs from the set, and then move to revision rounds. Obviously, you may find that you are not 100% "comfortable" with a specific logo, so the best way to move forward is for you to tell us what is that you don't like about them, and what you do. This will help our graphic design team to come up with new and more accurate ideas for your logo.
The rest is simple, we show you what we've done (based on your ideas, and the experienced eye of our professional graphic design team), and you tell us how you feel about it, what you would like to see changed, etc.
